Emergency Relief in Valencia, Spain

On October 29, 2024, a series of devastating storms struck the region of Valencia, resulting in one of the most destructive floods in Spanish history. Known as a “DANA” (Isolated Depression at High Levels), the disaster affected over 850,000 people across 75 towns, leaving more than 220 dead and countless families displaced.

Entire neighborhoods, industrial zones, and over 160,000 vehicles were destroyed. Ground floors of buildings were flooded, and basic infrastructure collapsed. With local authorities overwhelmed and stunned by the scale of the catastrophe, our team joined forces with friends from Lisbon to bring immediate support and comfort to those affected.

This mission was not only about delivering aid — it was about showing up, standing beside people in pain, and reminding them they were not alone.

How We Helped 🤲

  • Delivered a van full of food, blankets, and warm clothing
  • Entered the affected towns and went door to door offering direct aid
  • Listened to survivors, embraced them, and offered words of encouragement
  • Provided emotional and spiritual support through prayer and presence
  • Worked alongside volunteers and youth from across Spain, who answered the call to help
  • Offered comfort to those who had lost loved ones, homes, and hope

In the face of devastation, we chose to bring warmth, compassion, and solidarity — one conversation, one gesture, one life at a time.
