In the late 1990s, our team implemented a comprehensive humanitarian mission in Astrakhan, Russia. The project aimed to address critical needs for both emotional and medical support in different sectors of the community.
We recognized that for children living in institutions, emotional well-being is as important as physical care. We understood the profound impact of creativity and laughter on a child’s resilience and sense of hope.
Parallel to our outreach to children, we focused on improving the long-term health outcomes for mothers and infants. We addressed the critical need for modernized, patient-centered healthcare practices within the local medical community.
Empowering Healthcare Providers: The training was designed to equip healthcare providers with the skills and knowledge to offer modern, respectful care, fostering a more supportive and empowering environment for new mothers and their babies.
Seminars on Natural Childbirth: We conducted a series of in-depth seminars within Astrakhan’s hospitals. These sessions focused on evidence-based practices and the comprehensive philosophy behind natural childbirth, emphasizing respectful care for laboring mothers.
Training for Hospital Staff: Our expert trainers provided extensive capacity-building and specialized education for local medical personnel. This included advanced training for doctors, midwives, and nursing staff.
